Honda confirms Justin Brayton
It’s been confirmed that Justin Brayton – the talented 30-year-old from Fort Dodge, Iowa – will return to Honda machinery for the first time in four years to contest the entire 2016 Australian Supercross Championship.
“My time with Honda was amazing and it feels great to return,” said Brayton. “I have been testing with Honda in the US and together with the HGA Honda Racing Team in Australia they have been able to create this unbelievable opportunity. This is something I hope to doing for a few years yet – I started racing professionally a lot later than most and my passion to compete is still there, as is my speed.”
Another American SX1 racer will join Brayton (and Jimmy Decotis in SX2) on the all-new team – which will be run by Yarrive Konsky and supported by Honda Genuine Oils, Parts and Accessories – and is due to be announced before the end of the week, so stay tuned.
Honda Australia will also field Dylan Long and Jay Wilson (official factory team), Kyle Webster and Joel Whiteman (satellite team), and Gavin Faith and Josh Cachia (Penrite team).
