HIMALAYAN 450 … WHITE & TUBELESS!
When you can lay claim to being the oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production, you could argue that you’re within your rights to borrow from nature when it comes to your machines’ colour schemes. And that’s exactly what Royal Enfield has done with their recently released all-new 450cc adventurer tourer, the Himalayan 450. The much-evolved new model’s colourway options are inspired by the Himalayan Mountains it was developed in (and for) – elements such as slate, salt and sand. And now joining that line-up is a new option called Kamet White, which, according to Royal Enfield, “captures the essence of rocks emerging through the snow-capped peaks of the majestic Himalayas”.
In addition to it being the majority of journos favourite colour at the recent Australian media launch for the Himalayan 450 in the Victorian High Country, the Kamet White is the only colourway that comes standard with tubeless tyres – an upgrade claimed to offer owners added durability and easier maintenance.
The guys from Royal Enfield’s Aussie importer, Urban Moto Imports, tell us that the Himalayan 450 in Kamet White is available for pre-orders at an introductory price of $9790 Ride Away until June 30. Click here for more info.
