HIMALAYAN 450: THE RETURN TO NEPAL (PT2)
Twelve years since riding 4500km through the Himalayas with his late father, Motology Films’ Adam Riemann returns to Nepal to continue the journey solo – and this time, aboard Royal Enfield’s Himalayan 450. Here’s Part 2 of Riemann’s captivating four-part Himalayan Hero series, entitled “The Return”.
You can catch up here on Part 1 of this captivating video series. Or rip straight in to Part 2 where, after climbing to an altitude of 4000m near the Chinese border, Adam enters the upper Mustang – visiting the sacred fountains of Mutkinath, before being held up at a police check-point without a guide. The journey to Lo Manthang for the Tiji festival is the final leg of this journey in Nepal, from where he must backtrack to Kathmandu in time to load the Himalayan 450 on a truck bound for India.
From there, Adam will board a flight to Chandigarh, await the arrival of ‘Sir Enfield’ and continue this epic journey deep into the Ladakh region of the Himalayas – an adventure the awaits in Part 3 and Part 4 of the series.
