HERLINGS DOMINATES DUTCH GP

Jeffrey Herlings showcased his dominance at the Dutch Grand Prix in Arnhem, securing a flawless 1-1 result for his third victory of the season. The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider expertly navigated the sandy circuit, overcoming a back injury to claim his 107th career win. Herlings’ performance included a decisive victory in both motos, where he first made up ground after a slower start and then controlled the second race from the front, finishing nearly ten seconds ahead.

With this win, Herlings has now achieved twelve moto victories this season and extended his streak to eleven consecutive podium finishes. He moves up to third in the MXGP standings, narrowing the gap to the championship leader to just 35 points.

“I struggled with a painful back this week. It was something I had to deal with: I’m getting old! Today was quite OK. 1-1 was what I was hoping for. I made work for myself in the first moto but started picking off riders and coming back. I almost made a mistake in the second moto, even if the start was better. The competition is so strong. I’m super-proud of another 1-1 and now up to 107. I’m happy and blessed.”
