KTM Motocross Racing Team’s Kirk Gibbs dominated the 2015 Manjimup 15,000, racing to four moto wins and taking out the Allstars shootout.

The picturesque Cosy Creek circuit was greeted with perfect riding conditions, despite cloud cover looming over the racetrack later in the day. Gibbs rode with such a fluid style on the brutal circuit, proving to be a step above the rest.

“It’s good to come back here, I love this place,” said Gibbs. “I like the track. It gets really rough, especially that last race, it got pretty technical. I just love coming here. Like you’ve seen with all the fans, they’re pretty crazy. Like I said, I love to come back here, it’s a cool thing KTM do. It’s just awesome.”

Gibbs’ teammate, Luke Styke, claimed four second-place finishes throughout the day. He put in his best effort; however, he wasn’t able match the pace of Gibbs.

Filling the podium was WA’s Dean Porter. A few mixed results, which mainly consisted of third place finishes, were enough to land him on the podium, ahead of a stacked field behind him.

Mitch Taylor secured fourth Overall with an up and down day, while imports Josh Hill (US) and Brad Groombridge (NZ) struggled to gel with new bikes, despite each of them showing glimpses of speed during the day.

Husqvarna-mounted rider, Jay Marmont, would also have a good showing in moto one, with a third place finish. Although after limited time on the bike, and having to switch back to a standard shock after moto three, his results wouldn’t match his speed early on.

Overall Results:
1.Kirk Gibbs
2. Luke Styke
3. Dean Porter
4. Mitch Taylor
5. Jay Marmont
6. Josh Hill
7. Connor Tierney
8. Brad Groombridge
9. Craig Bolton
10. Michael Mahon
