Fist Getting A Grip On The Moto Market
Dissatisfied with the gear available in Australia, the crew from Fist Handwear decided to get a handle on the market for themselves, quite literally. “We are not trying to market FIST gloves as an Australian-made product, instead we have a world class product that just happens to be designed in Tasmania,” notes company founder Sam Moore.
Function was the first priority for Fist, so a number of features were engineered into every glove. A pre-curved Clarino palm makes for superior wear without sacrificing feel. Meanwhile tacky silicon print patterns on the palm and fingers offers optimal grip even in wet conditions. The twill spandex uppers are form-fitting so there is no bunching or blistering while featuring full breathability.
Fist comes in two styles:
Strapped — Traditional strap cuff closure and;
Fistfit — Strapless stretch neoprene cuffs for comfort and simplicity.
Features and benefits are all well and good, but bring on the bling! Their trick Tye-Dye gloves made a splash worldwide when Jarryd McNeil flashed the peace sign to ESPN’s cameras after his epic ride at X Games in Los Angeles… Perfect exposure for FIST, who is looking to get a handle on the global powersports market. “And just like Jarryd, we want to be giant killers,” adds Moore.
In addition to the throwback Tye-Die design favored by Jarryd, Fist has a handful of innovative glove designs, including a unique paisley pattern and cool black/white tiger stripes. Customers should appreciate the fact that they won’t have to resort to the old five-fingered discount to get their hands on the goods as the RRP is just $29.95. Fist fits mitts ranging from XS all the way up to 2XL.
Available exclusively from Fist dealers, RRP: $29.95
