If you’ve been eyeing the KTM 790 Adventure or 790 Adventure R for your off-road adventures, here’s an opportunity for you. KTM is bringing a range of these bikes back to Australian shores, all assembled in the Philippines. Let’s dive into the details provided by KTM Australia.

KTM Australia and New Zealand are pleased to offer a limited number of KTM 790 ADVENTURE and 790 ADVENTURE R models available at an exclusive price point from overseas production facilities, signifying a special opportunity for the market locally and featuring true READY TO RACE capabilities.
This run of 2022 models has been assembled in the Philippines utilising components that have been 100 per cent produced in Austria, identical in both appearance and specification to previously manufactured 790 ADVENTURE and 790 ADVENTURE R motorcycles. The sole variation is that this line has Anakee tyres as standard fitment.

The 790 ADVENTURE is headlined by its light weight of 189kg dry, resulting in a nimble character that delivers effortless excitement on both tarmac and gravel roads. Combined with its WP APEX suspension, 21-inch and 18-inch spoked wheels, a low seat height of 830-850mm, torquey parallel twin-cylinder 790cc powerplant, and advanced electronics package, performance features at the forefront of this ever-capable adventurer.

In addition, the 790 ADVENTURE R boasts fully-adjustable WP XPLOR suspension with 240mm of travel, slim ergonomics and a low centre of gravity to further enhance the rider experience in the toughest of terrains. Its seat height sits at 880mm and Rally Mode comes standard, alongside more offroad specific inclusions such as the single piece seat, high front fender, low screen and purposeful offroad tyres.

A full specification KTM line-up, the 790 ADVENTURE’s price is $18,690 Ride Away ($18,999 plus on-road costs in New Zealand) and the 790 ADVENTURE R is $19,790 Ride Away ($20,999 plus on-road costs in New Zealand). A rare opportunity to secure two of the segment’s longtime leading performers, once these production units are sold there will be no more available.
