šŸŽ„ Dirt Bike-Inspired Passenger Drone

Check out thisĀ dirt bike-inspired passenger drone that, let’s face it, looks like the lovechild of an placidĀ rocking-horse andĀ man-eatingĀ ride-on chainsaw! Anyone else reckon thisĀ concept hoverbike, made by the Russian company Hoversurf, is reminiscent of thoseĀ radĀ Speeder Bikes seen inĀ Star Wars?

Intrigued? Well,Ā this aerial weapon isĀ called theĀ “Scorpion-3” and it’s the first fully manned hoverbike in the world. But this prototypeĀ sure doesn’t look OH&S-friendly. Which is exactly why, in the footage below, the ballsyĀ test pilot (sporting all the protective moto gear he can get his hands on, it seems) claims it so hard after landing successfully …Ā all limbs intact.

If you’re interested in a drone that won’t sliceĀ your limbs off, check out the Ghost Drone from EHang.
