While all Ducati off-road fans had their eyes on the recent Erzbergrodeo and Antoine Meo’s annual pilgrimage to the podium, Antonio Polidoro clinched victory in the Twin-Cylinder category with his DesertX Rally at this year’s Albania Rally.
Despite claims that big ADV bikes can’t compete with enduro bikes, Polidoro finished a commendable 18th out of 150 riders. The Albania Rally, now one of the most competitive events in the rally world, featured 7 days of grueling competition over 1,800 km of varied and demanding off-road terrain, testing both vehicle reliability and rider endurance. Antonio’s DesertX Rally demonstrated impressive speed and durability, completing the challenging special stages in just over 31 hours.
