Yep, it’s been confirmed that Australia’s Chad Reed will be on the line when X Games kicks off in Los Angeles, August 1-4. The 31-year-old will race the recently re-introduced Men’s Moto X event, and will be up against the likes of Justin Brayton, Josh Grant, Wil Hahn, Josh Hansen, Josh Hill, Jason Anderson, Weston Peick and more. Everyone’s favourite bad-boy, Jason Lawrence, is set to compete as well – oh, yes please. That Mike Alessi guy will also be on the line, and as X Games isn’t sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, his family isn’t banned from attending the event. Let’s just hope Jeff leaves his laser light at home – or points it at someone other than Reedy.

Other Australian athletes invited to attend the 2013 edition of X Games LA include Rob Adelberg, Robbie Maddison, Meghan Rutledge, Jackson Strong and Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams.

For the full lists of names of athletes invited to compete in Moto X Best Whip, Moto X Step Up, Moto X Speed & Style, Moto X Freestyle, Men’s Enduro X, Women’s Enduro X, Men’s Moto X Racing, Women’s Moto X Racing and Moto X Adaptive Racing, click here.
