In enduro circles, Billy Bolt is a household name. Which makes it easy to forget that, after deciding to tap out of his trial bike career, this prodigiously talented Pom only arrived on the Hard Enduro scene in 2019 – the same year he suffered a career-threatening break to his leg – and has made a meteoric rise ever since.
Having recently cemented his place in history by becoming the first ever FIM Hard Enduro World Champion, the always entertaining Bolt has just released a video edit that delivers a revealing, fly-on-the-wall insight into the significance of the title win and the emotional rollercoaster ride this year’s super-closely contested championship took on Bolt and his team. It’s hard not to be happy for this likeable larrikin.
