Bell Helmets has worked hand-in-hand with some of the world’s greatest motorcycle athletes since their establishment in 1954. As a US-based company focusing on improving the safety and integrity of helmets, they now create some of the safest lids on the market.
On a recent trip to Oz, we caught up with Bell’s Business Development Manager, Luke Brady, to find out more about the technology featured on the 2018 helmet line from Bell.
Luke explains the philosophy behind rotational force (transferring vs management) and the effects it has on brain trauma, as well as how these rotational forces are managed through MIPS and Flex technology – which could ultimately impact your decision next time you’re in the market for a high-quality helmet.
