Courtney Knight takes Go Girls series win
Queensland Champion Courtney Knight took out maximum points at the third and final round of the Instant Security Alarms Go Girls series at the weekend.
Knight went into the last round leading her class after cleaning up and winning all three of the Senior Women ‘A’ Grade races in the previous two rounds of the series.
Knight rode strong and consistent throughout the series and after her impressive performance in Round 3, she claimed the Senior Women ‘A’ Grade overall and finished the series with maximum points.
“I am so happy with the way I went in the series, I had a lot of fun and it feels good to finish with maximum points”, said Knight.
“My YZ250F performed perfectly on all of the tracks that held a round of the Go Girls, I really couldn’t have asked for a better bike”.
Courtney has been on top of her class in the Go Girls series for past three years and is looking forward to next year so she can do it all over again.
“Go Girls is a really enjoyable series and it is really good to see all the up and coming junior girls getting out there and racing”.
Knight is now training hard for the Australian Women’s Motocross Championships which will be held at the Coolum Pines MX track on August 27-28.
