Trey Canard extends contract with Team Honda Muscle Milk through 2014

Trey Canard will be extending his contract with Team Honda Muscle Milk through the 2014 season. Next year will mark Canard’s third season aboard the factory-prepared Honda CRF450R contesting both the AMA Motocross and Supercross Championships.

Canard has been on the long road to recovery following his terrifying Los Angeles crash with Ryan Morais earlier in the year at the AMA Supercross, suffering from a serious back injury.

“It is a huge blessing to be back with Team Honda Muscle Milk,” said Canard. “I am extremely happy that I get to continue working with such a great group of people. I am looking forward to building on the good races we have had in prior seasons.”

“We are very excited to continue our relationship with Trey,” stated Team Manager Erik Kehoe. “Over the past few years he has proven that he has the skill and commitment that it takes to be a top contender for the championship.”

Check out this video to see what Canard has to say about his extended deal with Team Honda Muscle Milk, how his recovery is going and his thoughts on the all-new 2013 CRF450R.
