TESTED: HUSQVARNA’S 2022 4T MX RANGE

Isn’t it interesting how Pro riders love hearing that a new year-model production bike is a refinement on its predecessor, rather than a complete overhaul, whereas the rest of us get much more excited about the arrival of an “all-new” model that boasts “sweeping changes” or a “ground-up rebuild”. So, why is that? Well, while “refinements” aren’t exactly the sort of fodder that marketing departments dream about, Pro riders know that new-generation models often take a step backward for a year or two, before everyone figures out how they like to be set up and ridden.

So, just how much have Husqvarna’s 2022 four-stroke MX models benefitted from four years of generational evolution since those landmark 2019 FC models, which all came with sweeping changes to chassis, suspension, bodywork and engines? According to reigning Aussie MX champ (and former Husqvarna factory rider in Europe), Todd Waters, Husqvarna’s 2022 four-stroke production MXers are more race-ready in the hands of a Pro rider than ever before, plus they come with the sort of user-friendly predictability that average riders can take advantage of.

Join us as we check in with Todd Waters for his insightful feedback on Husky’s 2022-model FC250, FC350, and FC450 after a long day’s test riding with Transmoto…
