🎥 Ken Roczen: Back on the Bike

8 years ago | Words: Jarrad Duffy

Following his massive crash back in February, Ken Roczen is still not at the level where he can jump back on the track but it’s awesome to see him one step closer. K-Roc took to Instagram once again today showcasing he can still pop a mean wheelie.
Stay tuned for more updates in Roczen’s road to recovery, but for now, watch the video of Ken below…

For those not familiar with Roczen’s injury and recovery, here’s a recap…

During the 450 Main Event at the 2017 Anaheim Two SX, Team Honda HRC’s Ken Roczen suffered a terrifying crash in a technical rhythm lane. The impact left the winner of the year’s first two races with a compound fracture of the radius and a dislocated elbow and wrist, as well as related tissue damage. The amount of time he will miss as a result is uncertain.

Since the initial surgery, Roczen has undergone 11 more procedures to insert and remove an external fixator device, along with a replacement of his elbow bone via a donor. To further expedite the recovery, he has a full therapy regimen that restores strength and mobility to his left arm.
