Dungey’s ‘Helmet Adjustment’?

8 years ago | Words: Andy Wigan

Red Bull Factory KTM’s Ryan Dungey is certainly no stranger to interviews or TV cameras. So what the hell was the champ thinking last weekend when, toward the end of his post-race interview, he embarked on a prolonged and not-so-subtle … umm … ahh … let’s just call it a helmet adjustment … in front of a very large live TV audience.
Was it the golden boy’s subtle middle finger to all those who claim he’s been off his game in recent weeks? Or was he simply expecting the shot to be framed from the waist up? Who knows? Watch the footage and you be the judge.
