Kawasaki has officially unveiled an all-new KX250F for 2017, in line with the upgrades made to the 2016-model KX450F, headlined by a more powerful and lighter engine, a significantly lighter chassis and slimmer ergonomics.

Weighing in at 104.2 kilograms, key features include:

  • More powerful and lighter engine with an innovative downdraft design and upright engine orientation
  • A slimmer, lighter aluminum perimeter frame, contributing to razor-sharp handling and superior stability
  • Revised Showa Separate Function Fork – Type 2 with optimal rigidity and settings
  • Launch Control Mode to help maximise traction and acceleration
  • Three different DFI couplers with easy plug-and-play technology
  • Exclusive dual fuel injector design, contributing to superior throttle response and excellent power delivery

An Australian price and release date is yet to be confirmed.
