Inside the issue…

1. South America – Los(t) Gringos
We take an odyssey of adventure through South America, exploring the goodness of Latin American snowboarding. Venturing on volcanoes of Chile, the backcountry of Patagonia and surfing the long left-hand point breaks of the Chilean coast, get your corn chips ready it’s the salsa express.

2. The Jess Rich Interview
Introducing a largely unknown force in Down Under snowboarding. Jess is pushing the female standard forward in Australia especially, where it has been flailing without progression for over five years since the departure of Torah Bright.

3. Vandogg’n – A dirt bag tour around the locals.
We followed a simple recipe: five snowboarders, two vans, boxes of booze, petrol money and a map of the local resorts. Welcome to Van Dogg’n the true blue Snowy Mountains adventure where the only thing between you and a good time is the turn of the door handle. Get out and explore your own backyard.

Plus…

Round Hill NZ: The King Of Nuts
A new rope tow at a tiny resort near Tekapo, New Zealand has opened up access to an epic new snowboarding area. We just so happened to score it bluebird and untracked when we visited last season in its first year of operation.

The Perfect Session
Ever scored a perfect storm? Last season at Mt Cook, NZ the Burton team walked into one by chance. Perfect weather, perfect snow stability, the perfect crew and two days of heli-time to themselves resulted in this spread of all-time images.

And don’t forget…

The 2011 Buyer’s Guide – A Bonus 36pg magazine included with every issue.
Down Under’s most comprehensive gear guide featuring over 400 of the latest products.
