Knight dominates at Go Girls Round 2

Courtney Knight has once again shown spectators why she is Queensland Champion at Kingaroy in the second round of the Go Girls series on the weekend.

Knight rode strong and confidently throughout the day winning all three legs in the Senior Women A Grade class on her YZ250F.

“The Kingaroy track was great. My Yamaha handled perfectly and went really well every race and my Pirelli tyres loved the hard pack clay track and they kept their grip all day”, said Knight.

“Overall, I am really happy with how the day went.”

Knight won all three motos at the first round of the Go Girls series earlier this year and combined with the three wins from round 2, Knight is heading into round 3 with maximum points.

Round 3 of the Go Girls series will be held at the Kilcoy motocross track on the 19th of June. This will be Courtney’s last Queensland race before the opening round of the 2011 Australian Women’s Motocross Championships which is to be held in Broadford, Victoria on the 25th and 26th of June.

Round 2 results for senior women A grade:

1. Courtney Knight (YAMAHA)
2. Briony Hendrickson (SUZUKI)
3. Bianca Whyte (KTM)
