’26 Husky Trek Takes On Flinders Ranges

2 weeks ago | Photos: HQVA

Australia hosted the world’s very first dedicated Husqvarna Motorcycles adventure ride, and now the seventh annual Husqvarna Trek has been announced where riders will head deep into South Australia’s untamed outback of the Flinders Ranges. Running from Tuesday 8 September to Monday 14 September, the trek will host a fully supported, six-day adventure ride exclusively for Husqvarna Motorcycles adventure riders.

Capped at 90 riders to ensure each rider gets the full Husqvarna Trek experience, the six-day adventure is complete with expert Route Coordinators, Lead and Sweep riders and comprehensive technical, medical, luggage and 4WD support provided by Husqvarna Motorcycles Australia.

Designed to take the stress out of planning a multi-day ride, and for the first time, the 2026 event will introduce a fully inclusive event package for riders so they can focus on what matters the most: the ride. To fully experience this extraordinary region, the Trek has also been extended to six days, allowing riders to slow down, explore further, and truly appreciate the landscapes and locations that we are set to visit.

Accommodation across the Flinders is limited and unique by nature, so the Husqvarna Trek embraces that side of adventure – with a mix of camping under vast outback skies and staying at iconic locations including Arkaroola and Rawnsley Park Station. To add further to this distinct experience, a custom Husqvarna branded camping kit will be provided for all riders to use at the event, and take home with them, including a double swag with sleeping bag and pillow, swag bag and camping chair.

All meals are also included throughout the event – breakfasts, lunches, and dinners – allowing riders to focus solely on the ride.  And with fuel availability limited in the regions we explore, the Trek also includes five scheduled fuel drops as part of the package.

The journey both begins and ends at Bendleby Ranges Station, four hours north of Adelaide.  A truly special location, with day one offering riders the rare opportunity to explore Bendleby’s spectacular terrain, an area not normally accessible for motorcycle adventure riders. The route is set to deliver breathtaking scenery, rugged terrain, and a true sense of remoteness, as riders will travel from Bendleby Ranges Station up to The Prairie Hotel before spending two nights at Arkaroola, before returning via Rawnsley Park Station to Bendleby.
