FIRST LOOK: HUSQVARNA’S 2027 FC FACTORY EDITIONS
An all-new FC 250 engine, a WP XACT closed-cartridge fork and a crisp white-and-navy livery headline Husqvarna’s 2027 FC 250 and FC 450 Factory Editions, which land in Australian dealers in limited numbers from February next year.

Husqvarna has lifted the covers on its next-generation FC 250 Factory Edition and FC 450 Factory Edition. Both built in limited numbers for global markets, the two models pair a run of engineering changes with a premium parts package, developed off the back of testing and feedback from pro and amateur riders.
The headline act is the FC 250 Factory Edition, which gets an all-new engine. A new design, higher compression and a raised rpm limit are aimed at stronger, more controllable performance across the rev range, while holding onto the smooth, predictable delivery the DOHC motor is known for.
Both Factory Editions share a package of chassis changes. The key one for 2027 is the latest WP XACT closed-cartridge spring fork, which Husqvarna says delivered more consistent front-end feel and damping across a range of conditions in back-to-back testing with riders from amateur level up to world championship level. A revised rear-suspension layout and updated chassis geometry round out the changes, with both bikes targeting better stability, agility and precision.

On the engine side, a revised intake, top-feed fuel injection and the latest Engine Management System work together on combustion, throttle response and power delivery. A handful of changes also make servicing and maintenance easier.
Each model gets new Factory Edition styling — a predominantly white scheme with dark-blue accents, nodding to the brand’s Swedish heritage.
