2023 HUSKY MX MODELS: TODD WATERS’ TAKE

This time last year, when we tested Husqvarna’s 2022 motocross machines, Todd Waters was quick to tell us how stoked he was that those machines remained virtually unchanged – reason being, he was so familiar and confident in bikes that were the product of four years of careful evolution and refinement.

So, what does the 2019 Australian MX1 Champion think about Husqvarna’s completely overhauled 2023 year-model MXers? Have they improved as a production bike? Will they be a better base for both amateurs and Pro-level racers? And if his answer to those last two questions is “yes”, what the hell was he thinking a year ago when he said that new-generation models often take a step backward for a year or two before everyone figures out how they like to be set up and ridden?!
