2019 Aussie 4-Day Enduro: Postponed!

7 years ago | Words: Andy Wigan | Photos: John Pearson Media, Sal Aloisio

Earlier this week, Motorcycling Australia (MA) confirmed widespread rumours by officially announcing that the 2019 Australian 4-Day Enduro (A4DE) had been postponed. Let’s hope they find a workable alternative (we’re hearing talk that an alternative date in June is currently being sought by MA) because it would be a pity if this year’s 41st installment of the iconic event were to be cancelled altogether. Remember, it was just two years ago that the 2017 4-Day in Toowoomba was canned – the first time the A4DE didn’t run for 40 years.
Here’s MA’s official announcement about the 2019 A4DE postponement:

Motorcycling Australia (MA) seeks to advise all competitors and teams entered into the 2019 Australian Four Day Enduro (A4DE), that the internationally recognised event has been postponed, with a date to be confirmed in due course.
Due to government approvals surrounding the environment in which the 2019 A4DE will take place, the date for this prestigious event has been delayed. To ensure that the area spanning the event’s four days are supported and protected to the best of the Motorcycling New South Wales Enduro Committee’s and Far South Coast Motorcycle Club’s abilities, this change in date is vital to the success of the A4DE 41st anniversary.
To ensure the least amount of disruption to riders and teams alike, full refunds due to the date change will be provided, if requested, within 21 days.

For a full refund, please contact the A4DE secretary via secretary2019@a4de.com.au
For further information surrounding the event and how to enter, please head to the A4DE website and Facebook.
MA and A4DE appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. Further updates regarding the 2019 A4DE official date will be released via MA in due course.
