2018 Gas Gas EC/XC250
After Gas Gas recently launched their two 300cc models – EC300 and XC300 – into the Australian market, the Spanish company has unveiled the 2018 EC/XC250 machine. This revolutionary Gasser bike borrows the all-new design features and componentry from its 300cc brother, but comes in $500 cheaper for the enduro EC-model and $300 cheaper for the cross-country XC-model. Gas Gas Australia and New Zealand will now deliver the eagerly awaited EC250 and XC250 models in January 2018. The new 250 range will join the growing Gas Gas range for 2018, with the expected arrival of the 200cc range to be announced in early 2018.
Characteristically 250cc two-stroke engines are known for their free revving and snappy response and the new Gas Gas 250 engine demonstrates this with prowess. With an optimum bore and stroke of 66.4mm x 72mm, the Gas Gas 250 provides the ideal power needed on enduro trails through whoops and high-speed sections, where the rider is able to utilise power at a higher rpm range.
The 250 range carries over the same premium specification of the 300 range, including the new single backbone Chromoly frame and a full list of exceptional componentry from KYB, Magura, FMF, VForce4, Excel, NG, Nissin and much more.
