2017 Huskys: Prices Revealed
In our ride impression on Husky’s 2017 year-model enduro range, Husqvarna Australia’s Marketing Manager, Brendan Drage, said he expected to see small price increases for these new-generation two- and four-strokes this year. And, as Husqvarna Australia’s recently released RRP table (below) confirms, the 2017 enduro models are, in fact, a little pricier. The all-new two-stroke models are between $500 and $800 dearer than their predecessors, while prices for the 2017 four-strokes are up between $700 and $1000.
The 2017 FE250, however, bucks the trend. Its RRP has come down by $1000! Despite KTM/Husky’s 250F being their biggest-selling enduro model in both the UK and much of Europe for several years, they’ve been one of the poorest sellers in horsepower-obsessed Australia over that same period. Hence the handsome dealer-floor incentive for Australian riders to consider the giant-killing FE250 this year.
Drage confirmed that Husqvarna’s 2017 TE and FE models are expected in Australian dealers by early September. Limited numbers of their cross-country cousins – the TX300, FX350 and FX450 – will also be brought into Oz for 2017. They’re due to arrive in August at RRPs that are $1200 to $1400 cheaper than their registrable TE and FE counterparts.
