2016 Transmoto 8-Hour: Gallery

More than 100 images from the 2016 edition of the Transmoto 8-Hour, powered by Yamaha, held at Dargo in Victoria on April 16-17. This semi-chronological gallery tells the story of the event as it unfolded, from Saturday morning’s picturesque roadtrip right up until Sunday evening’s celebrations.

^ The winner of the inaugural “Start Ya Bastard” award, Gareth Cooper. 

^ Pairs winners, Chris Davey and Jake Blackwood, and the runner-ups, Glenn Edwards and Brett Pitcher. 

^ Team-of-Four winners, Team Husqvarna (Justin Parker, Lyndon Snodgrass and Anthony Venn – yes, their team impressively consisted of just three riders!), who were followed closely by Team VB (Nick Gannon, Alex Coleman, Paul Moncrieff, Jason Herbert) and Monoshock (Brad Snell, Chris Pepyat, Jesse Snell, Tim Coleman). 

^ 2015 Transmoto 6-Hour and 2016 Transmoto 12-Hour Ironman-class winner, Kye Anderson, defeated Sean Holmes and Bayley Burt on his way to winning the 2016 Transmoto 8-Hour’s solo category. 

^ The lone Mixed Team-of-Four, consisting of Chris Perry, Emma Broadbent, Travis Selwyn and Kellie Catanese.
