2016 GNCC Series Concludes
The 2016 Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series came to a close over the weekend in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and it was this year’s champ, FMF/KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell, who stood atop the podium at the end of the day, earning his 40th career Overall.
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing/Bel-Ray rider, Josh Strang, was unable to race due to injuries sustained at the 2016 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Spain. Despite missing the season finale, the Australian finished second in the championship, 80 points behind Russell. Trevor Bollinger rounded out the top-three for the series, finishing 70 points behind Strang.
