As Australia’s largest supercross and freestyle motocross event – the AUS-X Open – prepares for take off, the highly anticipated track map has been released, with multiple changes expected to create some incredible racing in 2016. Highlights include a steel freestyle motocross up-ramp for the final 75ft jump, a 100m tunnel full of sand (taken straight from Sydney’s beaches), a tricky rhythm section and the return of the exciting shortcut lane, which will be titled the “Shannons Shortcut” at this year’s event; courtesy of leading motorcycle and automotive insurer, Shannons Insurance.
