2014 Aussie ISDE Teams Announced
Motorcycling Australia (MA) has announced who will make up the Australian contingent contesting this year’s International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) to be held in Argentina, November 3-8.
The Senior Trophy team will feature Australia’s rising enduro star, Tasmania’s Matthew Phillips, who is fresh off his first-ever E3 victory in the 2014 Enduro World Championship (EWC). He’s joined by Josh Strang, who has been stringing together impressive performances in the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series in the US this year. Current Australian Off Road Championship (AORC) leader, KTM Enduro Racing Team’s Toby Price as well as CDR Yamaha Off Road Racing Team’s Daniel Milner, Active8 Yamaha’s Josh Green and Husaberg-mounted Jarrod Bewley will also join the Senior Trophy Team. Chris Hollis and Glenn Kearney were unavailable to contest this year’s event.
The Junior Trophy Team consists of Transmoto 19 & Under AORC class leader, Daniel “Chucky” Sanders, alongside other young guns in Tom McCormack, Scott Keegan and Lachlan Stanford.
Out to defend their 2013 ISDE title, the Women’s Team will again consist of Jessica Gardiner, Tayla Jones and Jemma Wilson, who also make up the top three in the AORC Women’s class.
