2011 Thor MX Gear Launch

Thursday the 15th July – Novotel, BrisVegas and it’s the 2011 Thor MX product release. There’s a good crowd on hand to witness Australia’s first ever pre-USA launch of the Thor MX range. Transmoto’s Greg Smith and AJ Roberts were on hand to check out the new range and grab this footage.

Out the front, there is a make-believe Todd Waters sitting on a CRF450R done in the Cougar Bourbon colour scheme. Inside the room is filled to capacity to view the latest offerings from Thor MX. As the international dateline would see it, we are the first in the world to see the new 2011 range. For 2011, it’s all about bright colour ways and bold prints, along with simple but effective changes to the line-up.

Transmoto’s own off-road editor, AJ Roberts, was up there strutting his stuff on the catwalk.

The Flux range is the top of the line with its hybrid build offering both comfort and ventilation. Next comes the Core range with strategically placed ventilation. This is one set of gear that you’ll be able to wear all year round. The entry-level is the Phase gear which appears to be really well built. It comes in more colour ways than you could poke a stick at. The Phase even has its own Pro Circuit colourway with all the necessary sponsor decals already embossed onto the gear. Rockstar isn’t forgotten with their own set of Phase gear as well.
