You Set For Sleets Grasstrack?
There’s a reason we regularly team up with Oyster Bay Motorcycle Club (OBMCC) to stage our NSW-based Transmoto Enduro Events: because they’re an active, switched-on, family-oriented club that caters to riders of all abilities and ages, and understands that having fun on a motorcycle lies at the core of all good dirt bike events.
One of OBMCC’s annual events that’s starting to gain some real notoriety is their “Sleets Grasstrack”, which will be held on Sunday, April 23, on some of the most mouth-watering natural terrain this side of Unadilla. Aside from the straight-up appeal of its undulating grasstrack terrain – situated near Sunny Corner in the NSW Central Tablelands – what we like most about Sleets Grasstrack is the fact it uses an old-school rubber-band start. Yep, shades of On Any Sunday right there!
Word on the street is that a few of the sport’s legends will be in attendance again this year, so get along to check it out. Or better still, enter the thing and be part of the action.

In the meantime, check out this video from last year’s Sleets Grasstrack. Admittedly, it’s got a bit of a school project, backyard feel about it, but this classic little edit also manages to capture the spirit of the event better than many big-budget vids ever do. Go on, see if you can watch this and resist the urge to get on your bike immediately!
