Are you a fan of Yamaha’s WR250R/X? Then don’t miss this chance to ride with like-minded owners of the bulletproof singles, including RideADV head honcho Greg ‘Giant G’ Yager, who has recently completed his unsupported double Simpson Crossing journey on his WR250R.
The first Yamaha WR250R/X Rally takes place from May 26 to 28, kicking off at Cessnock Showgrounds. The weekend will include two adventure/trailrides for WR250R riders and two road rides for X owners. Friday and Saturday night will also feature industry workshops and guest speakers from all RideADV supporters, including Yamaha Australia, Adventure Moto, Teknik Motorsport (suspension), Barkbuster Rideworx, Link International (talking Pirelli), Greg Yager discussing RideADV, and much more.

There will also be prizes and giveaways and comps, judged by Yamaha bLU cRU ambassadors for the following categories:

  • Best overall WR of the Rally
  • Best WR-R
  • Best WR-X
  • Best Adv set-up WR-R
  • Most bling on WR-R or X
  • Highest mileage WR-R or X
  • Furthest travelled to the ride

Camping and caravans spots will be available on-site, with pub and motel style accommodation within walking distance. Event sign-in will open at 3pm on Friday, May 26.

The cost to join either ride is $180. Interested? Register here.
