WHICH BETA BIKE WOULD SUIT YOU BEST?

3 weeks ago | Words: Jenna Post | Photos: Beta Australia

We know that choosing the right enduro bike comes down to more than just specs; it’s about finding the perfect balance that suits your style, skill and goals. With Beta’s three-stacked enduro line-up, including the XTrainer, RR X-Pro and RR Race, the brand offers a clear progression from entry-level accessibility to pro-level performance. Beta has provided a guide to break down the key differences in design, features and riding experience between the three models, in order to help you decide which Beta is built for you.

AT A GLANCE:

TECH SPEC COMPARISON – 300CC 2T:

XTRAINER = EASY ENDURO, THE PERFECT WAY TO START

Built for those new to enduro, returning riders, or anyone looking for an easy-going, manageable bike. It’s also a solid base for hard enduro, especially for those building a technical climbing machine. For amateur enduro and trailriding, it’s a perfect choice.

  • 300cc two-stroke engine tuned for progressive, linear power (also available in 250cc)
  • Lightweight, intuitive chassis, low seat height
  • Great even on slow, technical or trial-style trails
  • Extremely easy to maintain
  • On high-speed tracks or aggressive jumps, it may feel less stable or capable compared to the X-Pro or RR Race.

RR X-PRO – THE PERFECT BALANCE BETWEEN CONTROL & SUBSTANCE

With the MY2025 updates, the new RR X-Pro has become a sweet spot in the Beta line-up. This is the ideal bike for enduro, including hard enduro. It offers stability, precision and control, without being overly demanding or fatiguing. If you’re an advanced amateur, this might just be the only bike you need.

  • Fully reworked ZF suspension with SHC fork and dedicated shock, which is both comfortable and capable
  • Lower seat height for added comfort
  • Radiator expansion tank, front recovery strap, handlebar silent blocks to reduce vibrations and enhance rider comfort
  • Revised chassis geometry, lower center of gravity, much improved handling
  • SHC Fork (Separate Hydraulic Chamber): The new fork has been designed with an asymmetric layout to optimise hydraulic performance and reduce overall weight (by approximately 250g), significantly improving the bike’s handling. The right stanchion manages the spring function, while the left one now focuses exclusively on hydraulics, both are fully adjustable through new, precise adjusters.

RR RACE – THE MOST EXTREME, FOR THOSE WHO RACE (OR WANT TO)

This is the bike for those chasing peak performance. The RR Race is the closest version to what the Factory riders use in the EnduroGP World Championship. Built for competition, the RR Race stays true to Beta’s “rideability” philosophy, but it’s sharp, precise and responsive. It requires more physical input, but delivers maximum performance when racing or pushed to the limit by experienced hands.

  • Racing-derived KYB suspension
  • Dual-spark head on 250 & 300 2T
  • Alloy accessories, dedicated graphics:
    • Quick-release front axle
    • New handguards
    • Anodised aluminum/steel rear sprocket
    • Dedicated racing seat
    • Anodised gear lever and rear brake pedal
    • Anodised oil and filter caps
    • Red alloy chain tensioners.
