TRANSMOTO TESTED: WP XPLOR PRO 6500 CARTRIDGE KIT

2 years ago | Photos: Jarrad Duffy

If you are chasing more performance out of your standard WP open-cartridge Xplor fork (2017-2023), this is one hell of a good option. We tested WP’s popular Xplor Pro 6500 Cartridge Kit in a range of bikes – both new and old, two-strokes and four – and really rated them. For less that $2K, this fork insert kit gives you confidence in the front-end you didn’t know was possible – not just on big hits, but pretty much everywhere on the trail (much like the WP XACT CC fork that appeared on the 2024 enduro ranges from KTM and Husky). For a respectable price too!

Just remember that you’ll need to pair these inserts with fork springs to match your weight and riding style. They make a huge difference, but if you aren’t in the right spring range to begin with, you won’t get the best out of this premium product from WP Suspension.
