The Conondale Classic Weekend is Coming!

What’s the key to a top weekend away? The three B’s… Beers, Bikes, and Buddies! And the Conondale Classic Weekend is no exception. It’s about time you dusted off the vintage beast that’s sitting in the shed, and round up the fella’s to enjoy the best weekend of vintage bikes, iconic tracks and flashbacks on offer.

Yep, the Conondale Classic Weekend is happening on Friday June 7 to Sunday June 9.
And with five all-time tracks to choose from – the Pre-78 MX and Open Pre-95 MX tracks, the Vinduro Loop, Trials Area and a crowd favourite; Grass Track – it’s going to be epic.
The Sunshine Coast Motor Cycle Club (SCMCC) has limited the tickets available to the epic weekend with only 500 spots available – to ensure your ride is maximised. At the end of the day, it’s SCMCC’s goal to maintain a grassroots vibe for the Classic Weekend.

SCMCC President, Rodney Heading: “The Sunshine Coast Motorcycle Club is all about friends, fun and good riding. The Classic Weekend is our hallmark vintage event that’s relaxed and allows everyone to ride as much as they like and camp out under the stars. We’re excited to host all vintage bike lovers for the weekend, be it spectators, experts, brands or back shed bush bashers. The classic bikes we see and love are all here in one place, so it’s going to be one hell of a party”.

Saturday night’s raffle includes a beautifully restored 1982 Husqvarna WR250, that you must be at the event to win. Plus, a secret band (to be announced) that is guaranteed to shake the gumnuts out of the trees.
With limited spots available, the best riding terrain in Southern Queensland and with the date conveniently falling on the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend, the time is now to buy your ticket to ride. It’s set to sell out in no time! The rider fee is only $135 + licence fees and $20 for spectators – includes complimentary camping Friday and Saturday night.
