GEARING

13/50 or 51 gearing – Stock is 13/48, which is great for faster fire roads and high-country use. However, single-track warriors can benefit from shortening the gear by adding a few teeth to the rear sprocket. Note – this mod will require a new chain.

OPTIONAL SEAT (HIGH OR LOW)

For those riders who aren’t short but are built closer to the ground for greater speed and accuracy, the optional Factory low seat is perfect for achieving improved comfort and confidence out of their SHERCO, reducing the seat height by -20mm and crafted from the highest quality materials.

Conversely, those that can easily reach the cookie jar from the top shelf of the pantry can greatly benefit from the optional taller seat. +15mm higher than standard helps open the rider’s cockpit for taller/bigger riders but also helps flatten out the ergos for racers, which is why some factory riders who aren’t super tall also prefer to use this seat.

PIPE GUARD

A carbon fibre pipe guard does a great job of protecting the expansion chamber from abrasion and impacts. Carbon pipe guards are lightweight and easy on the eye. Extreme guys might prefer something more heavy-duty, but these options can come with higher price tags and added weight and can have adverse effects on chassis flex in some cases.
