Final Call: KTM’s Adventure Rallye in WA

Do you own a KTM adventure bike and have dreamt of the ultimate ride through Australia’s west coast? Well, this opportunity sounds like your chance. Don’t mess around because entries are about 85% full for KTM’s Adventure Rallye in Western Australia. Especially when KTM’s other Rallye, the KTM Adventure Rallye in the Queensland Ranges is already sold out.
Here’s everything you need to know from the crew running the WA Rallye, KTM Australia…

The first-ever KTM Adventure Rallye to be held in Western Australia in October 2020, has now surpassed 130 registrations, with just shy of 40 spots left to be sold for the October 2020 event.
This overwhelming response sees over 300 orange adventure riders supporting the KTM Adventure Rallye events, far surpassing anything we have ever seen.

Bunbury KTM Dealer Principal, Sander Taber has over 30 riders signed up across both KTM Rallye events (WA and Qld) and is excited to showcase his home state to both locals and those traveling from across the country. “My first taste of the KTM Adventure Rallye events was in 2018 with the Outback Run,” states Sander. “We got a group of riders together from Western Australia and made the journey to the Northern Territory to take part in this grand adventure – and man was it worth it. I’ve been hooked ever since and have been pushing to get the Rallye over to Western Australia as I believe we have some of the best adventure riding in the country. The response has been outstanding and I have guys who are even planning on doing both KTM Australia Adventure Rallyes this year. Riders are going to be blown away with what the West has to offer – my only fear is it won’t be our little secret anymore!

Danial Lindsay from Coastal KTM attended his first KTM Rallye in Tasmania last year, he has over 18 Australian riders looking forward to the QLD Ranges. “I’m excited!” states Danial. “The KTM Australia Adventure Rallye is a great event that complements our business by allowing us to share our passion for riding with our customers. Last year was my first time and I am hooked – meeting so many like-minded people and the camaraderie across the group made it an outstanding experience. Also getting to ride with KTM Champions, that was an awesome added bonus.”

General Manager of KTM Australia and a former Western Australian resident, Jeff Leisk is looking forward to the much-anticipated introduction of the KTM Adventure Rallye concept in the western state. “2020 is an exciting year for KTM and I for one am really looking forward to participating in the KTM Adventure Rallye in Western Australia,” states Jeff. “It was a big call this year launching two KTM Australia Adventure Rallye events. We wanted to maintain the quality of the event by capping rider numbers, but we wanted to alleviate disappointing customers who may not get a spot. So the answer was… let’s run two! We have been planning on coming to Western Australia for several years now and this was the ideal opportunity. Western Australia has so much to offer in terms of diverse landscapes, plus riders will get to experience some of the great South West WA culture in the little towns we are planning to ride through. Expect great food and wine along with fantastic adventure riding!”

The KTM Australia Adventure Rallye: South West WA will take place from October 9-15, 2020 and has spots remaining for orange adventurers keen to attend. Freight options are available for riders through BIKES ONLY Transport if you are looking to attend from across the country.
