King of MX Final is Upon Us

The King of MX feature race is the richest motocross race in Australia, and will consist of the top senior racers from every class, so everyone from the pros right through to the C-Graders and Vets who get through will be in with a chance to take home the $10,000 prize, and at only 10 minutes everyone has a chance at taking home the crown!

With the qualifier events run and won, and the Golden Tickets in the hands of the best riders in NSW, the Bikebiz King of MX is set to launch into action at the Port Macquarie final this weekend to decide our State Champions and crown our King, Queen, Prince and Princess of MX in what are the richest motocross races in Australia.

Racing begins Saturday, June 9, and continues across the long weekend until a winner for each of the 21 classes (see list below) has been found before the highly anticipated feature races on Monday.

With State Champions in place, the best of the best will race head-to-head in two separate sprint races on Monday, June 11, to crown the King and Queen of MX, where each will earn $10,000.

MNSW CEO Dave Cooke: “It’s been a long road for the Motorcycle NSW staff and all the clubs that have taken part in rebuilding this championship, but, with the incredible increase in competitors and the amazing feedback we’ve received from those in and around the sport, it’s clear that we’ve made a move in the right direction. I want to take this opportunity to thank all those involved from Lower Mountains, Nowra, Cessnock, Young, Dubbo, Moree and Hastings Valley motorcycle clubs who worked tirelessly to create this championship, as well as all our hard-working officials and volunteers. It’s simply not possible without each and every person involved. It’s our ultimate aim to help people enjoy our sport and give them opportunities to not only excel, but be rewarded for the effort they put in. This re-invigorated State Title is just another step in that process, and we can’t wait to crown our very first King, Queen, Prince and Princess of MX!”

With free entry for all spectators, head to 60 Cowarra Access Rd, Wauchope, NSW, from Saturday, June 9, through to Sunday, June 11, to catch all the action.
