Jay Marmont Announces Retirement

At Conondale’s Monster Energy MX Nationals round over the weekend, CDR Yamaha rider, Jay Marmont, officially announced that he would be retiring from full-time racing come the end of season 2014.

Marmont’s career will be forever highlighted by the four consecutive MX1 championships he secured while racing under Craig Dack’s wing between 2008 and 2011.

This video, titled ‘What It Takes’ was shot by JCMX Films earlier this year, where Marmont outlined the details of his return to CDR Yamaha for season 2014. The clip, presented to you exclusively by Transmoto and Fox Head Australia, was filmed just days after Marmont took delivery of his all-new 2014 Yamaha YZ450F.
