Here’s what we can gather from all of the information at hand:
Monday, March 28: A Toyota Tundra pick-up heading northbound at 4:50pm on State Road 417, alledgedly tried to pull over a vehicle using a set of red and blue lights mounted in the dash area of the vehicle. Unfortunately for the alledged driver of the pick-up James Bubba Stewart the occupants of the other vehicle were two off-duty highway patrol state troopers.
As Stewart pulled along side the vehicle, one of the troopers identified himself as a law officer. That’s when Stewart, who had a passenger sped off – the troopers said.
The troopers quickly notified FHP dispatchers and called 911 to report the incident.
An Orange County deputy sheriff and an Orlando police officer stopped and arrested Stewart at the Orlando International Airport. The other person in the vehicle was identified as 44yr old, Thames Jehrrod Quinault from California, who was also arrested for tampering with evidence.
Stewart was released early Tuesday morning. He made his way to a vehicle and sped away in a white Range Rover driven by a woman.
