HUNTER LAWRENCE LEADS SMX WORLD C’SHIP

The stage is set for a breath-taking conclusion to the SuperMotocross World Championship as we head into the highly anticipated finale in Las Vegas this weekend. With the tension palpable and the stakes sky-high, all eyes will be on the three fierce competitors vying for the title: Hunter Lawrence, Chase Sexton, and Jett Lawrence.

Hunter Lawrence, fresh off his pivotal victory in Fort Worth, Texas, has positioned himself as the series leader, holding 90 points after a thrilling 1-3 finish. This win marked not only his first in the premier class but also solidified Honda’s dominance, as they maintain an unbroken overall 450 class win streak in the SMX series.

Red Bull KTM’s Chase Sexton, a mere point behind Hunter with 89 points, is poised for a comeback. His strong performance in Fort Worth, finishing just a heartbeat behind Hunter, has reinvigorated his championship hopes. With triple points up for grabs in the finale, Chase knows this is a winner-takes-all situation. He’ll be looking to capitalise on every opportunity to turn the tide in his favour.

Then there’s Jett Lawrence, the defending champion, lurking just behind with 81 points. Known for his speed and tenacity, Jett is a formidable competitor who won’t go down without a fight. His impressive performances throughout the season have kept him in striking distance, and with the pressure mounting, he’ll be focused on reclaiming his title.

Las Vegas promises to be an electrifying showdown, with the championship hanging in the balance. The unique triple points format adds an extra layer of drama, transforming the final race into a true battle royale.
