How-To: Ballard’s Off-Road MotoRak

6 years ago | Words: MXstore

Who says you can’t fit three bikes easily into a dual cab ute? With this fully adjustable (1400mm to 1950mm) MotoRak you can secure any combo of one-two or three bikes into the multiple wheel chock locations. Back-set tie-downs on either side also allows the tie-down angle to work much better when the handlebars are turned into the corners.

Laser-cut from high-grade steel then powder coated to a smooth long-lasting black finish. This unit also really strengthens the front of the bed so no more damage or bending when a bike pushes too hard into the front. The two-slot front channels also allow a great spot to feed security cable through if locking up bikes for security is necessary. The five forward bed mount holes in the MotoRak line up with Nissan and Mercedes dual-cab utes, but with a great array of mounting hardware (including rivet nuts and an inserting tool and instructions) this kit is adaptable to almost all popular model dual-cab utes.

FEATURES:

  • Easy installation with hardware and some tools provided
  • Greatly strengthens the vulnerable front panel of utes
  • Designed to allow one-three bikes
  • Adjustable to suit most makes and model utes
  • Engineered with two security cable locking slots
