Get’s Honda-Specific Tuning Tool

Until midway through 2016, the only way to reprogram the mapping in your CRF250/450R’s standard ECU was to take the bike to a Honda dealer who owned a HRC Tuning Tool (a $2000+ specialised device that required pricey annual software upgrades and an experience technician to run it). And that’s exactly why the introduction of GET’s user-friendly WiFi-COM2 technology last year made so much sense. The GET WiFi-COM2 (when combined with the free WiGET App) suddenly made it quick and easy for Honda owners to modify their stock ECU mapping by using a smartphone or tablet.

But does that existing WiFi-COM2 device still work with the new and significantly upgraded 2017-model CRF250/450R? Yes it does. And GET’s WiFi-COM2 tuning tool now offers the same level of tunability as the HRC Tuning Tool (the same parameters and range of adjustment), but at a much lower price. That’s good news for Honda dealers and owners alike.
GET’s Honda-specific WiFi-COM2 tuning tool is available through Honda dealers for an RRP of $395.

WHO IS GET?

GET is the electronics arm of Italian-based performance specialist, Athena, and for several years now, GET’s ECUs (and associated technology) have been used by more professional race teams around the world than any other aftermarket brand. In Europe, America and now Australia, race teams that use both Japanese and European machinery are using GET’s performance-enhancing products to title-winning effect.
