GARCIA & VERONA ADD WORLD TITLE TALLIES
Even if you only keep a watching brief on who’s doing what in world enduro racing, it will have been hard for you not to get wind of the incredible exploits of KTM’s Josep Garcia and GASGAS’s Andrea Verona in this year’s EnduroGP World Championship (and at Italy’s 2025 ISDE, for that matter). And while it’s fair to say that both the Spanish and Italian riders have dominated their respective E1 and E2 classes in the World Championship, stiff competition meant that both the E2 and EnduroGP (Outright) titles still went right down to the wire at last weekend’s series’ finale: Round 7 in Germany.
Instead of a blow-by-blow account of how these two current-day kings of enduro racing wrapped up their title campaigns on Germany, let’s take stock of the winning stats each has amassed over the past few years, during which time they’ve effectively took over from Beta’s Steve Holcombe and Brad Freeman as the fastest and most consistent enduro racers on the planet…

ANDREA VERONA
Team: GASGAS Factory Racing
Age: 25
Nationality: Italian
Title Tally: After a double win at the final round of the 2025 FIM EnduroGP World Championship in Germany, Verona clinched the Enduro2 world title in style. It was his eighth world crown, plus he cemented his runner-up position (to Garcia) in the EnduroGP standings after another season of incredible consistency and speed. Verona also handed GASGAS the 2025 FIM Enduro2 Manufacturer World Championship.
This year’s title also extended Verona’s remarkable record of finishing on the Enduro2 podium at every single EnduroGP round for over five years – a streak that firmly establishes him as one of the most consistent and talented riders in world enduro. Across the 2025 season, Verona took seven victories and finished on the podium at every round. In EnduroGP, he finished runner-up after claiming 11 podiums and four Overall wins from 14 days of racing.

JOSEP GARCIA
Team: Red Bull KTM Factory Racing
Age: 28
Nationality: Spanish
Title Tally: Having already wrapped up the 2025 E1-class world title with a round to spare, Garcia went 1-1 at the German series finale to ram home his dominance in the quarter-litre class, while his 1-2 scorecard in the EnduroGP allowed him to clinch his second consecutive victory in the Outright standings. These two titles bring Garcia’s total tally to seven World Enduro titles, and caps off another momentous year.
In spite of few injuries, the 250EXC-F mounted Garcia took eight EnduroGP Overall victories, alongside a near-perfect record in the Enduro1 category, where he won 13 of the 14 days’ racing this year. And with Garcia’s standout season delivering consistent top results, KTM also claimed both the FIM EnduroGP and Enduro1 Manufacturer World Championships for 2025.
By the way, this all comes on top of Garcia winning the Outright individual standings at this year’s 6Days FIM Enduro of Nations (ISDE) in Italy for an unprecedented fifth time; just ahead of – you guessed it – Andrea Verona!
