FIRST LOOK: MY26 BETA RR RACE RANGE
Beta has unveiled their 2026 RR Race Range, bringing significant updates across both two-stroke and four-stroke enduro models. Beta has completely redesigned their RR250 Race 2T engine, revised gearboxes in both the RR250 and RR300 Race 2T models, reinforced transmission systems on the RR125 and RR200 Race 2T, and refined mapping for the entire 4T line-up.

Beta Motorcycles Australia is pleased to announce the MY26 Beta RR Race range. The RR Race models represent the race versions of Beta’s Enduro line-up, and is designed to deliver maximum performance while staying true to Beta’s hallmark philosophy of RideAbility. For MY26, there has been a series of changes, reflecting Betamotor’s commitment to innovation and its performance-based range.
RR 250 RACE 2T
The new RR 250 Race 2T has undergone a complete engine redesign for greater torque and broader power delivery across the rev range.
Key updates include:
- Shared crankshaft and cylinder with the 300 2T model – with revised stroke (72mm → 69.9mm) and increased bore (66mm → 67.4mm) to maintain its 250cc capacity.
- Redesigned transfer port geometry with a new dedicated piston.
- New cylinder head that has been redesigned to create optimal performance with the new engine geometry, while retaining the dual spark feature.
The dual spark plug (on both the 250 2T and 300 2T) brings numerous benefits:
- It offers improved distribution of ignition points in the combustion chamber, with a consequent reduction in fuel wastage. This translates into greater carburation stability at all engine speeds, and more precise control of the engine.
- The engine’s range of use is further extended, with the delivery of greater torque and more power.
- The two spark plugs are managed with a separated electrical system. This means that if one of the spark plugs should foul, the engine will still be able to run, although with less efficiency, allowing the race or off-road session to be completed.

RR 250 & 300 RACE 2T
Key updates include:
- The gearbox has been modified, by significantly lengthening the second gear. This has increased the smoothness when switching from second to third gear, with enhanced riding comfort and stability during and after the gear change. The result is a clear improvement in the bike’s race capabilities, where you can always identify the perfect gear to face any situation.
- The main bearings on both the RR 250 & 300 RACE are larger and stronger.

RR 125 RACE 2T
To match the lively performance of the RR 125 RACE 2T, a new reinforced gear system has been introduced. Stronger and more precisely calibrated, it ensures faster, more accurate shifts and allows the 125cc engine to deliver its full potential at any speed. This upgrade also extends to the RR 200 RACE 2T.

RR 200 RACE 2T
The RR 200 RACE 2T receives an additional gearbox update, with revisions to both the engine’s gear system and the transmission. These changes adjust the internal rotation ratio between the two components, optimising load distribution and strengthening the overall system.
From a rider’s perspective, the feel remains unchanged – the bike’s dynamics, gear ratios, and throttle response are identical to the previous model. However, the update delivers greater structural reliability under heavy, prolonged use.

RR RACE 4T Range
All MY26 4T models receive new maps for smoother, more controllable power delivery across the entire rev range, giving riders confidence and greater performance on even the toughest terrains.
Premium Racing Components – Standard Across the Range:
- Kayaba (KYB) suspension package: 48mm AOS closed-cartridge fork and C46 RCU Monoshock with fully adjustable compression and rebound.
- Quick-release front axle with red anodised lever – saving precious seconds during tyre changes.
- Reinforced handguards for durability and protection.
- Anodised racing footpegs with interchangeable steel pins, narrower design for improved grip and control.
- ZF sprocket: anodised aluminium core with steel teeth for the perfect balance of strength and lightness.
- Dedicated race seat: non-slip cover with document pocket.
- Racing graphics and red anodised details throughout, ensuring MY26 Race models stand out on and off the track.
On all 2-Stroke models, Beta continues its racing-first philosophy by removing the automatic oil mixer (available separately in the Factory Parts catalogue) to keep weight to a minimum.

Australian availability will be December 2025, with pricing to be announced closer to arrival date.
