First look at 2012 Husqvarna enduro range
The 2012 bike details have been coming early this year. This time it’s Husqvarna who’ve released their new 2012 range. So what’s new? The obvious one is new graphics and that the bikes now come with a black frame.
On closer inspection the TE250/310 models have a new Kayaba rear shock to go with the 48mm fork already on the bike. The exhaust system has been completely re-designed to increase performance, and the fork settings have been updated. They get firmer springs, which are complimented by valving mods at both ends.
In the TE449/511 range, there’s a new high-performance radiator, modifications to its frame for added strength and a lower profile. There’s changes to the default mapping which Husqvarna claim gives you more control over the bikes power. The bikes get a new protection shield on the exhaust pipe and a one-piece rear mudguard.
The WR125/250/300 two-stroke range sees less attention with the images indicating they retain the Sachs shock and cable-operated clutch.
The Australian Husqvarna distributor, Paul Feeney Group, is yet to announce ETAs and RRPs for the new bikes.
