Ducati Scrambler Teams Up With Refrigiwear

3 years ago | Words: Matt Holmes | Photos: Ducati Media House

When Ducati’s Scrambler arm teams up with an iconic, US-born clothing brand, RefrigiWear – who’s got a history as intriguing as their Italian counterpart – the resulting capsule range is pretty slick.

Founded in 1954 in New York City, RefrigiWear was born in an era of high-tech new fibres (back then, anyway) from Dupont. The brains trust behind the brand began to innovate immediately, insulating workwear like never before. The ‘Crafted to Last’ brand grew rapidly until the ’90s. Come the 2000s, it was bought by an Italian owner who stepped the brand into the world of fashion alongside its workwear roots. Fast forward to the here and now, and the collaboration between the Scrambler brand and Refrigiwear has spawned a capsule range of hard-wearing and super-minimal clothing and bags that showcase both brands’ enviable heritage. Here are our picks from that colab range.

SCR X REFRIGIWEAR FABRIC JACKET

A tasty hooded jacket dedicated to the Land of Joy is the result of the collaboration between Ducati and RefrigiWear. OG styling from the traditional workwear brand perfectly matches the motorcycle-inspired design and features. RRP: $563.

SCR X REFRIGIWEAR BACKPACK

The minimalist Refrigiwear style meets the Scrambler vibe in a total black backpack, complete with printed logos and woven label. Inside, you’ll find a PC pocket, while ergonomic adjustable shoulder straps keep it comfy. RRP: $135.

SCR X REFRIGIWEAR ROUND-NECK SWEATSHIRT

Simple is best! This sweatshirt is made from ultra-soft cotton. It guarantees a comfortable fit and combines the purist essence of the two brands. RRP: $154.

SCR X REFRIGIWEAR DUFFEL BAG

A handy bag showcasing the partnership between Ducati Scrambler and RefrigiWear. While minimalistic from the outside, it features a waterproof compartment for wet clothes inside. RRP: $154.
