DIRTY DOZEN: 12 COLORADO PEAKS ON THE DESERTX (PART 3)
Ducati North America’s CEO Jason Chinnock and Jamie Robinson of MotoGeo set out to tackle their Dirty Dozen Challenge in just five days. And in Part 3 (the final episode), they push their DesertX machines and themselves to conquer the remaining four notorious Colorado peaks.
As with any place above 12,000 feet, Tincup Pass brings the weather, but an unforgettable adventure through a historic mining region via some rocky trails makes it all worth it. With nine peaks done, Cumberland and Hancock Passes bring the two riders their most challenging ascents. Heading across to Leadville, their final climb to Mosquito Pass is both the tallest of the 12 and the most rewarding, providing the best of Colorado’s vistas. Followed by some epic tarmac corners!
The Dirty Dozen is a simple formula: a challenge formed with a mate brings good times and epic trails.
