DAKAR: RACE AGAINST THE DESERT RELEASED
A new Dakar documentary from RedBull Studios and Universal Pictures has been released, which follows the journey of Dakar legends Carlos Sainz Snr, Sébastien Loeb, Nassar Al-Attiya and our own Toby Price alongside rising stars like Mason Klein and Seth Quintero as they hit the sand during the 2023 Dakar. Yep, back when Price was still on two-wheels with the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team. And, that unforgettable year when he fell short of the win to teammate Kevin Benavides, by the shortest winning margin in Dakar history – 43 seconds.

“Dakar: Race Against the Desert” showcases the raw intensity of the event, offering an unfiltered look at the grit, determination, and risks faced by competitors as they race the toughest off-road raid in the world. Consolidating footage from 18 months of filming with over a dozen racing legends and their families, this 90-minute documentary blends cinematography with a unique narrative approach.
The new documentary is available to watch in Australia for a cost, on major platforms including Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, and more.
